Hi, I’m Monet Goode.
Tinderuta is a five-day ski touring journey through Jotunheimen, from Fondsbu to Turtagrø. Created as a more snow-reliable alternative to Høgruta, it takes you through some of Norway's most spectacular high mountain terrain, combining classic summit tours, glacier travel and unforgettable skiing in untouched snow.
Each day, we adapt our route to the weather, snow conditions and the group, always aiming to find the best and safest skiing. Along the way, we target beautiful 2,000-metre summits and experience the dramatic landscapes that make this part of Jotunheimen so special.
The journey includes five mountain huts, each with its own unique character. We begin at Fondsbu, continue via the self-service Olavsbu before reaching Leirvassbu and Krossbu, and finish with a final day of skiing in the spectacular Hurrungane from Turtagrø.
As with all high mountain journeys, flexibility is an essential part of the experience. Weather and avalanche conditions in Jotunheimen can change quickly, and we always adjust the itinerary to ensure a safe and rewarding trip for the group.
